Travel information

By Air: Domestic and International visitors can fly direct to Cairns, where a number of transfer options to Cape Tribulation are available. Coach Transfers: Coach transfers are available between Cairns and Cape Tribulation daily. We recommend "Sunpalm Transport" who offer daily transfers to and from Cairns airport, they also provide a similar service from Port Douglas. Other coach transfers are available between Cairns and Cape Tribulation Resort & Spa. Timetables are available at the time of booking. Transfer time is approximately two and half to three hours each way. Transfers from Cairns require crossing the Daintree River by car ferry. The Daintree Ferry operates between 6am-12midnight every day. Car Hire: You can also organise to hire a car or drive your own and enjoy the magnificent scenery at your leisure. Once you arrive at the Daintree River the ferry, operating between 6am to midnight, will take you across to Cape Tribulation.

Important information

There is no mobile phone reception or wireless access in the remote Daintree, Cape Tribulation area. Please be advised that there is a 3% surcharge on all credit card payments.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 3 years are charged AUD 5 per night per person for cots. All older children or adults are charged AUD 65 per night per person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: 10 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Wired internet is available in public areas and charges are applicable. Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Free public parking is possible on site. Pets: Pets are allowed on request. No extra charges. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
