After almost ten years, the Irwin family are again winners at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards.
10 years ago steve Irwin won the Burp Award at the Awards, now Bindi and Bob Irwin have scored top honours at the Australian Nickelodeon night of nights.
The Queenslanders took home the Hall of Slime Award for 2011.
Bindi and Bob, fended off challenges Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Guy Sebastian and an absent Rove McManus, were blasted with green slime as Daniel MacPherson announced them as the first ever winners of the award.
"It is such an honour just to be nominated. It's a wonderful award," Bindi said.
"We're carrying on in our dad's footsteps. He originally got the Burp Award here at Nickelodeon," she said.
Hosted by iCarly stars Nathan Kress and Jennette McCurdy, the night featured an orange carpet, bowls of maggots, oversized and miniature envelopes and five tonnes of slime at the Sydney Entertainment Centre to mark the 16th annual Aussie Kids Choice Awards.
Australian singer and teen heartthrob Cody Simpson swept the field, taking out all three of his nominated categories - Super Fresh Award, Awesome Aussie and Favourite Aussie Muso.
"I might not live in Australia at the moment, but Australia always lives in me," he told the crowd as he accepted his third and final award for the night.
The pop star performed a medley of his tracks 'Just For You' and 'On My Mind' for thousands of screaming fans, entering the stage with just a guitar before breaking into a dance routine with his backup dancers, then singling out one lucky girl from the audience to sing to.
A record 1.6 million kids' votes were counted to determine this year's winners and despite most voters not being old enough to have their say on the real Prime Minister, they got to voice their political views with the Slime Minister Award.
Masterchef judge Matt Preston, who also took out the award for Awesome Oldie, plunged his arm into a tank of slime to pull out the word Julia, announcing Julia Gillard as the Slime Minister.
A Julia Gillard look-alike accepted the award.
"Tonight, I'm proud to go green because you voted me Slime Minister," The prime Minister's double told the crowd.
"I'd like to ban budgie smugglers, she added before dancing with Australia's Got Talent winners, Justice Crew and being covered in slime along with Matt Preston.
Kyle Sandilands beat WWE superstar CM Punk to take out Baddest Baddie, accepting the award via video message pre-recorded from Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles.
Jennette McCurdy proved that she was a good pick to co-host the night, beating Camp Oranges Luke and Wyatt, Hamish and Andy and Josh Thomas to take out the LOL Award.
Cody Simpson returned to the stage to finish off the night, performing his hit track All Day before being covered in green slime from head to toe.
